Born 23rd February 2007, weighing in at 7lbs 8ozs (3.41kg in new money), we give you, all the way from Hackney via Persia and Barnes, the first boy MacDermott this century, Liverpool’s soon-to-be star striker, Royin* The Invincible.
He’s been good as gold so far. We’re up for visits anytime, so drop us a line.
We’ll post more images once the Gallery is back up and running.
Sorry everyone, the Gallery is kaput. Working on a fix right now and also looking for a better solution. You can see photos of Royin in the next article.
Edward
A big thank you to everyone who came and made it such a special day. The occassion was everything we could have hoped for and it meant so much to get married in front of so many friends and family.
Special thanks to Richard (best man), Mitra (Maid of Honour), Tony (music), Kirsty (flowers), Omri (photos) and our mums and dads.
Lots of photos online in the gallery. We’d love to see other people’s photos.
Edward and Sepideh are getting married on August 31st.
We’d love to see you if you are coming to Barnes fair.
Ed, Sep, Frances and Kirsty have just come back from a few days at Angenais. You can see photos in the gallery.
One thing we noticed is that Angenais is no longer called Angenais. The village used to have a split personality. As you came in from Poitiers, the sign would read Angenais, but coming from Vouzailles it was Angenay. It’s a shame, because this quaintness was part of the charm of the village. But, on the flip side, I don’t feel bad about taking the name for this web site. If the village ever wants its own web site, Angenay is still available.
Our neighbours have sent us a couple of photos of the snow in Angenais.

Welcome to Angenais, a blog of life in a French village and other stories
